The fourth UNI Europa Regional Conference has opened in Rome with close to a thousand trade unionists uniting with a promise to Change Europe Together. After an opening ceremony including starlit performances from the Ballet of Rome, delegates were immediately down to the business
Saturday 12 March saw a hugely successful UNI Europa Women’s Conference in Rome: hundreds of UNI affiliates from 81 unions and 28 countries across the continent gathered to debate issues such as the gender pay gap, gender discrimination, violence against women, and women in sport.
