The Malta Union of Bank Employees – MUBE has been officially reconfirmed as the sole bargaining agency at Middlesea Insurance plc following a late attempt by the GWU to disrupt the conclusion of negotiations of the first complete Collective Agreement for the Admin / Support and Technical graded employees. This follows an official verification process conducted by the Department of the Director of Employment and Industrial Relations. Meetings with management have now resumed with the signing of the new Collective Agreement envisaged in the coming weeks.
